Biological Control: Certain native Arachnids Spiders of the region have proved very useful in controlling nocuous fauna for the habanero pepper. Because we do not use pesticides there is a wide range of native fauna living in our crops, all these wildlife helps us as a natural control for pests. We even have observed 7 different varieties of spiders living in our greenhouses. This and the release of beneficial insects, such as the predatory mite “Amblyseius swirskii”, allow us to control pests that affect habanero pepper and thus respect and care for the environment.
